Coloured Road Markings

I’ve started seeing red paint on the road, no not spilled but used in conjunction with chevrons and other markings but not in town on A and B roads in Hampshire, it looks nice enough and the markings do stand out well but I do see a problem, what if you went down the road to Portsmouth and the council said “hold on this is Portsmouth our colour is blue!” Do you see where I’m going?

Manchester, Liverpool / Merseyside, Glasgow, Birmingham next thing you know you’ve marked territories with council road markings?

I’m probably making this up in my head and just over thinking it but it’s an interesting concept!

Revamped T4Surfbus Website Launched

T4Surfbus is a year old, has an impressive list of users and is recieving well over 3500 hits a month, how best to celebrate, a redesign of course!

Nothing too crazy, in fact gone the other way, where OTT design and funky looks great, its not truly suited to a directory so I have cleaned it up and tried to make it easier to find whats required from the site!

Not to mention a full recode in PHP to replace the HTML it was in.

Rock and Roll beds are the most searched

For the first time since the http://www.t4surfbus.co.uk site went ‘live’, the Full conversion page is not the most searched page on the site, the last month the stats show that the Rock and Roll page is now the most searched with 683 hits, its not a huge lead over the full conversions page only 22 visits more but interesting all the same, may show a shift in visitors browsing to visitors looking for specifis which is the reason for the directory.

Currently receiving just over 3000 hits a month.

T4 Surfbus is now recieving 2000+ hits a month to the site, fantastic achievement over less than 6 months in existence.
